In Spring 2014, Tarek worked as Arranger and Musical Director on the first regional revival of Howard Goodall’s acclaimed musical, Love Story. The show starred Daniel Boys and Lauren Samuels as Oliver and Jenny, and Tarek played the role of Doctor Ackerman as well as being piano/conductor for the show, leading a piano quintet of actor-musicians through his new arrangements in performance. The production got rave reviews and has been nominated for a MTA Award.
